Yes, you can help at no cost!
Here's how it works (only for those who use Malaysia mobile operator's services).
Do you sign up any mobile operator’s package whether it's postpaid or prepaid? Do you have any balance left during the end of the month or prior the expiry date which is going to be wasted if you do not plan to utilize it?
For example, you sign up for Maxis VALUEPLUS50 plan. What this plan means is Maxis will bill you MYR50.00 (excluding tax) even though your actual usage was only MYR40.00.
If the answers are both YES, then yes you can help the poor at no cost and what you need to do is just send a SMS to 32088 with the following text to start chatting on my blog:
TXT POOR [your message]
What will happen is, MYR10.00 will be billed to you as your mobile phone usage and out of the MYR10.00, MYR5.00 will go to the mobile operator (the licensed operator which the content provider like me need to pay them) and another MYR1.50 will be going to Fortumo.com (the host of this content services and remember to use thepoorkiller.blogspot.com as the invite code to get your EUR5.00 if you plan to start your mobile business) and finally I will get MYR3.50 which I will donate it to any of the charity organization through out Malaysia once it's accumulated at least MYR100.00.
So you are not only helping the poor, you are also helping the mobile operator and Fortumo people as well, why waste if you can help.
I will keep this as transparent as possible, I will publish money received and money donated with receipts into the blog from time to time (depends on payment received).
